About me

Hello there! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Annika, I’m a freelance travel writer, social media manager, expat and of course avid traveller!

My travels have taken me to 30 + countries in six continents – Would you believe Asia is the one continent I have not yet been to? So yes, I went to Antarctica (just before my 30th birthday!) before exploring any of Asia. Rest assured, once I get to my last continent, it will be epic.

I love adventure travel and most often find myself writing about active adventures around the world. However, I am always up for some urban adventures too – Who could resist good vegan food, museums and cultural sites? As long as I have had my fair share of travel in the nature (camping under the stars..priceless!) I’m ready to explore city life too.

You can follow Live Laugh Explore on Facebook and my adventures on Instagram and Twitter too.

  • Hi Annika – thanks for sharing your wonderful experiences and incredible pics!
We are planning to trek the iconic Tour du Mont Blanc (13 days) during this August. You pics of Aquile du Midi were inspiring … so as we start the trek in Chamonix, it will also be on our agenda!
